Ring Sizing
There are a few different ways to figure out your ring size! If you're not sure of yours, we recommend visiting us at shannon maureen jewelry or your local jeweler to have your finger sized. This will ensure the most accurate sizing. Alternately, there are several other ways to size your finger (or favorite ring) that can be found online.
TIPS FOR MEASURING YOUR RING SIZE
Your ring should fit your finger comfortably; snug enough so that it won’t fall off, but loose enough to slide over your knuckle with some resistance.
Finger sizes change depending on the time of the day and the weather. Don’t measure when your body temperature is either too cold or too hot; cold fingers shrink and hot fingers expand. For most accurate results measure when fingers are at room temperature and 3 to 4 times to eliminate an inaccurate reading.
For best results, use a plain, thin band. Never use a string to measure your ring size they stretch, which may give you an incorrect reading.
Remember, each one of your fingers is a different size, so a ring you wear on your right hand will not necessarily fit your matching finger on the left.
If you’re buying a wide band, they tend to feel tighter than thin bands, so err on the large size when ordering.
